Who runs BeautiBase

BeautiBase is run by FeteLABS, LLC, which operates FetePass, and it runs on FetePass’s systems. Your BeautiBase account is a FetePass account: one account, one sign-in and one set of records. FeteLABS, LLC is responsible for what is described here.

What a booking records

  • Your name and your email address.
  • Each booking: the business, the services, the day and time, the price, the person you booked with, and any note you add for them.
  • A rating, if you give one after an appointment.

Who sees it

The business you book sees your name, the booking and your note. It may keep its own notes about your visits in its client book, which only its team sees. Other people see a business’s average rating, never who gave it. FetePass staff can see records when they must — to help you, or to keep the service safe — as the FetePass notice explains.

What is not kept

No password: you sign in with a code sent to your email, or with Google. No card number: if you pay by card on the Pay page, you type your card into Stripe’s own checkout and it never reaches us. Stripe tells us the payment went through, and keeps its own record under its own privacy policy.

On your device

Your browser keeps the session that keeps you signed in, and the island and service you last chose. While you sign in part-way through booking, this tab holds the services and time you had picked, and after an update it notes that the page reloaded. None of it is sent to anybody.

Where it is kept

With Supabase, in Canada (ca-central-1).

Everything else

The services FetePass uses, how long records are kept, and your rights — to see, correct or delete what is held about you — are in the FetePass Privacy Notice, which applies to BeautiBase in full. To ask about any of it, use FetePass’s contact page.
